Your Day to Day:

As a Mortgage Advisor at The Introducing Broker Finance Hub, you will play a crucial role in helping clients secure the most suitable mortgage products and providing tailored financial solutions to match their unique circumstances. You will be responsible for assessing clients’ financial information, creditworthiness, and eligibility, analysing and comparing mortgage products from various lenders and providers, and staying updated with new mortgage products and changes in mortgage regulation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Keep up-to-date with mortgage deals, products, technical or legislative changes within the marketplace.
  • Comply at all times with the Compliance and Training and Competence Procedures of our firm.
  • Comply at all times with the requirements of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, and the FCA Principles, Rules and the Conduct Rules.
  • Adhere to the cross-cutting rules and act in the spirit of the Consumer Duty to support the achievement of good Consumer Outcomes
  • Identify and contact potential clients. Gather sufficient client information and identify client needs.
  • Analyse information gathered and undertake sufficient research to make suitable mortgage recommendations.
  • Complete all supporting documentation in an accurate manner.
  • Attain and maintain competent status as defined by FCA and our firm.
  • Maintain performance standards in accordance with those outlined in the Key Performance Indicators section of the Training and Competence procedures.
  • Spot cross-referral opportunities and refer in-house to achieve our mission statement.

You will be responsible for assessing clients’ financial information, creditworthiness, and eligibility, analysing and comparing protection products from various lenders and providers, and staying updated with new protection products and changes in protection regulation.

Your Day to Day:

You will support Mortgage & Protection Advisors by managing and maintaining accurate case data, handling communications, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure the smooth processing of mortgage and protection applications. Your role involves managing inbound and outbound communications, proactively overseeing your pipeline of protection cases, following up on outstanding tasks, and ensuring cases move seamlessly from submission to completed stage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound and outbound communication via chat, telephone, and email.
  • Proactively manage your pipeline of protection cases, ensuring case data is accurate and up to date, including meeting the firm and FCA rules and regulations and being compliant in all areas.
  • Chase outstanding tasks to ensure cases move from submission to completion/‘on-risk ‘status.
  • Follow up with mortgage lenders/protection providers for updates and manage cases through underwriting.
  • Obtain reports from GPs and get cases approved as smoothly as possible.
  • Coordinate protection policies to align with mortgage completion dates.
  • Build strong relationships with advisers and other key team members.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with our other inhouse teams, such as Mortgage/Protection Advisers, Mortgage/protection Case Handlers and call centre staff, to ensure smooth handovers and a seamless customer journey.
  • Provide feedback to the management team to enhance internal tools and improve workflow efficiency.

 

Experience Required

  • Minimum 1 year mortgage/protection admin experience
  • Ability to handle a high-volume workflow and prioritise tasks effectively.

Your Day to Day:

As a Call Centre Representative at The Introducing Broker Finance Hub, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, handling a variety of enquiries and providing exceptional customer service. Your role involves managing a large volume of inbound and outbound communications via phone, chat, and email in a timely manner, ensuring each interaction is handled efficiently and professionally. You will follow communication scripts, utilising your knowledge of the company’s products and services, and go off-script when necessary to better address client needs.

You will be responsible for identifying customer needs and maintaining ownership of calls throughout the lifecycle of a caller’s request, including follow-ups. Additionally, you will update and maintain accurate records, follow up on outstanding tasks, and coordinate with various stakeholders to facilitate the smooth onboarding of customers.

Additionally, you will build strong relationships with wider team members, continuously seek ways to enhance the customer experience, and provide feedback to the management team to improve internal tools and workflow efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Memorise scripts for products and services, and refer to them during calls
  • Build positive relationships by going above and beyond with customer service, ensuring that all questions, cancellations, and confirmations are handled appropriately
  • Identify opportunities for driving sales and revenue of the company’s existing product suite, and seize opportunities to upsell when appropriate
  • Meet daily qualitative and quantitative targets for yourself and your team, and achieve all objectives for service, productivity, and quality
  • Create and maintain record of daily problems and remedial actions taken, using call-center database
  • Leverage data and insights gathered by the call centre to recommend and influence process improvements to improve workflow efficiency and the customer experience.
  • Build strong relationships with advisers and other key team members.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with our other inhouse teams, such as Mortgage/protection Advisers and case handlers to ensure smooth handovers and a seamless customer journey.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience working in a call centre or customer-support role
  • Exceptional Phone manner
